ABRIDGED PRESCRIBING INFORMATION

Composition: Betadine® Gargle & Mouthwash is a dark brown colored clear liquid used as an oral topical antiseptic solution.

Formula: Povidone-Iodine USP 1% w/v (0.1% w/v of available iodine).

Indications: For prevention and treatment of bacterial, viral and fungal infections in upper respiratory, oral cavity and dental diseases.

Dosage and Administration: Adults and children: Use undiluted or dilute with an equal volume of water. Gargle or rinse for at least 30 seconds.

Pregnancy and lactation: Povidone iodine should not be used regularly during pregnancy unless there is no alternative treatment available.

Warnings: For external use only. Not to be used in children of 6 years and under. Keep out of the reach of children.

Storage: Store protected from light at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Replace the cap tightly after use.

Presentation: Betadine® Gargle & Mouthwash is available in Amber PET bottle for 100 ml with a measuring cup.
